Kitchenette was great with full size fridge, stove, and a microwave. Location was perfect, our room was great, with fantastic views from the private balcony. This was perfect for our family vacation which we had a total of 5 rooms throughout the hotel with family members. We stayed here for the first time, although we have passed this place many times throughout the years coming to PCB (23 YRS), as well as having stayed next door at the former Fiesta Hotel that has been torn down for years now. Will not be returning and definitely not recommending. The hotel served its purpose for the week and I understand that you get what you pay for, but you don’t get much for well over 2k a week. Definitely not a hotel for families or older people just because of the walking and stairs. This hotel would probably be fine for the Spring Break crowd or for young people without kids. The remodel is pretty but they have a long way to go. The first floor rooms have suffered water damage apparently for years that they are trying to repair but can’t keep up with the climate. My husband is 6’4” and it made for a long week trying to fit in the tiny bed. Our reservation was for a standard efficiency room with two queen beds but we got an efficiency with two standard/full beds. Our room was clean enough to stay in and the efficiency kitchen came in handy but carrying any type of groceries the 1/2 mile makes it not worth fooling with. The staff works hard to clean but there are beer cans and bottles everywhere on the grounds. Laundry facilities are next to the pool so you must stay with EVERYTHING or it will be stolen (speaking from experience). He scared my daughters and they refused to be by the pool without a coverup. There aren’t enough spots for one vehicle per room and if you get back late you will park 1/2 mile away in “overflow.” The security guard is unnerving and walks around the lot looking inside all the cars or stares at everyone in the pool.
